Bees Pull Trigger on Multiple Deals, Acquire ARod

AP News - Today the Baltimore Bees made two trades in the hopes of making a run at the Carp Cup in 2005. In the first trade, the Bees acquired Alex Rodridguez, Scott Shields and Jon Papelbon from the Park Avenue Money in exchange for Justin Morneau, Jason Bartlett, Jesse Crain (the 3 Js) and the Bees pick in the 4th Supplemental. The Bees then closed a deal to acquire Tony Womack and Jason Giambi from the Brighton Creepers in exchange for Aaron Rowand and Matt Ginter.
