The First Supplemental Draft of 2006 saw Bernie Williams, David Wells and Darin Erstad (former MVP) all released. Wells and Erstad might have a shot of getting picked back up, but it's doutful. Are they HOF worthy? Discuss.

Of course not. How can someone like Wells or Erstad qualify for the HOF when players like Belle and Knoblauch don't have the credentials?
Belle only played 6 years in CARP ('95-'00); Knoblauch played 8 years in CARP, but the last ones were ugly; this is Wells 11th season (excludes SD); this is Williams 12th season; this is Erstad's 11th season (although his #s don't support inclusion). I think Williams is the strongest candidate based on his first 8 seasons in carp '95 to '02. Erstad, despite his MVP award is a clear no. Wells' number aren't cutting it for me, but he may be the best pitcher soon to become eligible to the CARP HOF.
