***RUINED***

Today the Brighton Creepers announced that they sent "one-dollar-wonder Carlos Quentin, Jeremy Hellickson and Austin Jackson to the Beltway Buckos for Big Manny, Big Vladdy, Accardo and a pick in Third Supplemental. Reaction to the trade around CARP was uniform. "I can't remember I trade so one sided (at least not since Vernon Wells for Shannon Stewart circa 2002)," said one GM. A second GM stated, "I actually was surprised when I saw this trade.... Manny and Vladi? Sounds insane." A third GM reportedly commented, "I can't really judge the trade since I have no idea who hellickson even is. I'm sure he's a stud though. Just like austin jackson." CARP Notes thinks what was shaping up as the most competitive race in CARP history is over. It's just a matter of time. As of today, the Creepers have 25 points in offense. CARP Notes predicts the Creepers will end the season with 35 (an avg. of 7 in every category). It's not that trade stinks to high heaven, but the Buckos did not shop the players in any realistic sense. In response, the Buckos stated, "I could have shopped more -- guilty. But I liked the offer I got from Creepers. " A Buchanan Rule has been proposed, "A league announcement must be made that named players will be traded before they can be traded." One GM lamented, "All I wanted was the opportunity to rip Buchanan off too. I wouldn't have raped him that badly. If he doesn't put the bunny suit on next year, I'm buying him a one-way ticket to the Stabbin' Cabin."

This deal is extremely annoying. It is definitely once sided.... I don't know why he would make this deal when there are two other owners actively making better offers.
