A Flurry of Trades Before Draft Day Rosters Frozen

Trade #1: The Bees send Hanley Ramirez to the Creepers for Daniel Cabrera.

Trade #2: Warthogs send Garland to the Creepers for the Creepers 2nd pick in the 5th Supplemental Draft.

Three-Way Trade

The Pirates send Aybar (SS ANA) to the Money for the Money's pick in the
third supp.
The Money send Aybar to the Brewers for the Brewers second round pick in the
First Supp.

Trade

Creepers send their 1st round 1st Supp and 4th supp pick to the Hogs in
exchange for Jason Kubel (OF-MIN) and Ian Kinsler (SS-TEX). Creepers
release Colby Lewis and Mike Mussina to complete the deal.

In other CARP news, the draft is now only 22 days away. In just three short
weeks we will be wandering the Big Easy, drinking on the street and throwing
beads at 18yr olds. Good times.

It also means that rosters are due on Sat. March 19th by 5pm. You must
submit your roster to me by email or phone by 5 or face as yet to be
determined sanctions. To ensure the integrity of the process I will submit
my roster in advance to another CARP owner. Once I have received all
rosters I will update the CARP page.

If between now and the 19th you have ANY concerns about player position
eligibility or salary, raise it with me now to avoid any problems next week.

Trade

In a first for the CARP league, an off-season deal was completed tonight in
which one of the CARP owners was hospitalized. Hooked to an IV, cell phone
and blackberry, GM Hirsch of the Pirates would not let a runaway infection
stop his quest for the CARP Cup.

The Pirates have sent Matt Riley (SP Balt) and Delmon Young (OF TB) to the
Cap City Brewers in exchange for Danys Baez (RP TB).

GM Hirsch celebrated the deal with a sponge bath from his male nurse.
